Glas-Avenue is a completely integrated glass software system. Because of this seamless integration, it is very important to provide strict access control to the more sensitive areas of the system and your all-important accounting data. Mainstreet's solution to access control comes in the form of the user access control panel. In the user access control panel, managers have the ability to allow or restrict access to nearly every feature, function, and report found in each and every software module: from saving an invoice to reporting on year-to-date activity. In an effort to meet the needs of our customers, Glas-Avenue Administration has been expanded for Version 8 to allow access levels by user group, employee, and even by individual user name.

Glas-Avenue Administration Software Modules

Glas-Avenue Administration is comprised of five individual modules: Administration, DataTrax, Inventory, Purchase Orders, and Scheduler.

  1. Glas-Avenue Administration provides you with all the tools you will need to secure your system and customize it to fit your business including automated backups, the user access control panel, invoice customization, program color schemes, required fields, and a variety of other settings to personalize your system.
  2. DataTrax is a report module that offers a number of report options and formats for managers such as the advertising analysis, the monthly sales analysis, and the top customer reports.
  3. Inventory for Glas-Avenue is a separate module that feeds stock counts to Point of Sale to ensure your CSRs are not scheduling jobs which requires parts you do not have. Use Glas-Avenue Inventory to track the value of your inventory by the minute, set reorder point reminders, and compare changes in cost over time.
  4. Purchase Orders allows you to tie a purchase order for a particular part to the invoice it is for in order to more accurately picture your P/L. Use Glas-Avenue Purchase Orders along with the GLAXIS module to order parts online and even compare vendor cost on the fly.
  5. Scheduler integrates directly into Glas-Avenue Point of Sale and provides an instant snap shot of your scheduled jobs for the day, the week, or the entire month. Schedule your jobs by time or sequence and, optionally, allow your CSRs to set schedules on the fly during the invoicing process.
